Old World's continents (Europe, Africa and Asia) thus no other area can equal it as regards to marine and terrestrial
advantages, which present an international geo-economical and geo-strategically circle.
ECONOMICAL DISTINCT SITE:
As a completion of place's genius, This area is lying on marine and terrestrial transportation and communication
center where as it preempts Suez Canal southern entrance the greatest and most important marine trail all over
the world where 18000-20000 ships carry 5,642,200 Tons pass between his arms yearly and it is considered as a joint
between Africa and Asia which to safe correlation between Arabian zone wings as a big support and development of
Arabian integration.
MARINE ECONOMICS :
Mothers ships of seventh and eighth generations, which can carry 7000-8000 containers appearance as a result of
world's direction to containerization. All these due to imperative of hub ports establishment which can handle
millions of containers yearly which can receive these giant mother ships then can distribute containers to branch
ports on feeders (small ships) to make highest economical profit of ships and ports running.
INTERNATIONAL HUB PORTS COMPETITION:
That many hub & huge ports appeared in the middle and east Mediterranean Sea. These ports are Marsaclokk in
Malta, Gioiatauro in Italy, Piraeus in Greece, Mersein and Ezmir in Turkey, Limasol in Cyprus, Beirut in Lebanon
and Haifa & Ashdoud in Israel which its containers handling rate between 500,000 containers to 3,000,000 containers
yearly.. So, it becomes necessary to establish East Port-Said hub port to make an equalized competition with these
ports to achieve huge economical steps for Egypt.
RUSHING INTO NEW ECONOMICAL HORIZONS:
That project is established in this vestal area without dwelling localization in Sinai whereas Egyptian people
and government from narrow valley to the golden triangle of East Port-Said which achieve an economical jump by
appearance of hopeful new industries and developing of available industries.. Increasing new work opportunities
and so its national income and supporting Egyptian national economic through increasing exports and achieving made
in Egypt cachet.
PORT-SAID TERRITORY DEVELOPMENT :
